"Crypto Is Not Made for Humans" โ And He Might Be Right
Dragonfly partner Haseeb Qureshi drops a brutal truth bomb about crypto UX. Is the industry building for robots instead of people?
Haseeb Qureshi โ one of the sharpest minds in crypto VC โ just said something that made the entire CT uncomfortable: "Crypto is not made for humans."
The Problem
He is not wrong. Think about it: - Seed phrases that you MUST NOT lose (but also MUST NOT store digitally) - Gas fees that change every 12 seconds - Token approvals that can drain your wallet - Bridge UX that makes filing taxes look fun - 47 different L2s that all claim to be "the one" The average person cannot use crypto without risking their funds. That is not a feature โ it is a failure. The Counter-Argument
Crypto maxis will say "the internet was hard to use in 1995 too." Fair point. But we are 15 years into this experiment and the UX has barely improved. Most "improvements" just add more complexity. Account abstraction, smart wallets, chain abstraction โ these are all attempts to fix the problem. But they are building patches on top of a fundamentally hostile user experience.Who IS Crypto Made For?
Right now? Traders, degens, and developers. People who are willing to learn an entirely new mental model just to send money. The billion-user apps will come when crypto becomes invisible โ when you do not even know you are using a blockchain. Think Venmo, not MetaMask.0xShadow Take
Qureshi is right, and anyone who disagrees is either too deep in the bubble or selling something. The projects that win the next cycle will be the ones that make crypto feel like magic, not homework.Share๐ Twitter
